HERE'S WHY:
What comes first? What’s next? We provide a clear structure for running rehearsals and building your program, keeping students focused and engaged.
Every choral program is unique, but we focus on proven principles that support your vision, foster growth, and help you maintain a healthy work-life balance
We provide 24/7 guidance for your choral program, offering real-time support through live coaching and private messaging in our exclusive community.
Your mentor gets to know your unique situation, offering personalized advice that reduces stress and boosts productivity.
Conferences and workshops can be inspiring, but they rarely provide the structural foundation needed to build a lasting program.
How often do you leave a workshop with big ideas, only to implement one that fizzles out? We focus on what truly matters and show you when and how to implement ideas for long-term success.
Imagine a supportive community with a comprehensive curriculum, discussions that reinforce proven concepts, and choir directors all committed to a growth mindset.
Our only agenda is to help you thrive—whether you’re seeking guidance, sharing ideas, or learning new strategies to elevate your program.
Our curriculum isn’t cookie-cutter—it’s designed to adapt to your unique needs and is personalized through our coaching calls!

PHASE 1
Developing the proper mindset and setting a clear mission statement for the current program and where you want it to go!
PHASE 2
Building the foundation - knowing what you want - creating effectives guidelines, setting routines, effectively managing behavior, structuring and planning rehearsals
PHASE 3
Focusing on foundational musical issues, beginning vocal technique (male voice) matching pitch, handling singers who are struggling in the rehearsal, getting singers to sing with more confidence. Choosing appropriate repertoire.
PHASE 4
Developing music literacy, advanced vocal technique, learning how to guide all ensemble members toward developing useful skill, individual musical growth and collective success. Choosing appropriate repertoire.
PHASE 5
Creating student role models, training leaders, and getting students to accurately self-assess so they take ownership of their ensemble. Setting a plan for retaining and recruiting.
PHASE 6
Empowering students to exceed expectations, to become self-motivated, to create choir traditions, to build an alumni base, to set the choir to essentially run itself.

To meet the needs of today’s students—who are undeniably different than they were 20 years ago
—I’ve developed a proven blueprint that modernizes traditional choral rehearsals. This framework, outlined in my book and the foundation of the mentorship program, centers on the 4 Steps to Choral Success, a method that works in any middle or high school setting, regardless of its structure.
Over the years, I’ve transformed my approach to classroom management to align with a modern educational philosophy. Gone are the days of rigid “rules,” “consequences,” and “rewards.” Instead, I focus on fostering an environment where students feel safe, supported, and guided toward their potential.
Every singer wants to succeed—even those who may not realize it yet. If you’re reading this, I know you believe in that potential too. The academy is your roadmap to building the choral program of your dreams.
I guarantee it will be one of the best investments you make in your career.
Eliminate all disruptions and distractions that ruin the flow of your rehearsal!
Choose the best approach to ensuring a successful learning environment for all of your students.
Know how to manage poor behavior without punishing yourself! (or your students)
Maintain the flow of your rehearsal, even when students are misbehaving or choosing to interrupt.
Teach every student how to match pitch
Teach aural training, note-reading, rhythm reading, and all aspects of music literacy for ALL students!
Be the choral director who is prepared to INSPIRE their students because their students are ready, willing, and able to learn!
Learn how to create healthy vocal warm-ups and vocal technique that benefits all singers
Build a choral program that gives ALL students the opportunity to grow, year after year!
In addition to teaching, I am the founder of Choral Clarity, a widely-recognized resource for choir directors, featuring over 150 insightful blogs and 150+ original choir resources available for instant download. Through my mentorship program, I’ve helped middle and high school choral directors nationwide overcome challenges, refine their craft, and build thriving programs. My blogs, resources, and original choral works have been used by primary, secondary, college, and community choirs worldwide.
I hold a B.S. from New York University and both an M.A. and Ed.M. from Columbia University’s Teachers College. I’m fortunate to share my life with my wife, Blair Goldberg—a Broadway actress and labor & delivery nurse—and our two children, Lyla and Nolan. We live just outside New York City in the beautiful town of Port Washington.
I look forward to helping you gain clarity and the tools needed to build a successful and rewarding choral program!
Sincerely,
Adam
